(November 26, 2019) On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the adoption of the First Mongolian Constitution and the Day of Proclamation of Republic, a ceremony for ratifying the Constitutional Amendment took place in the Chamber of Nine White Banners of the State Palace on the 26th of November, 2019. With the State Seal being delivered by Chief of Staff to the President of Mongolia Enkhbold Zandaakhuu, the ceremony began as President Battulga Khaltmaa, Chairman of the State Great Khural Zandanshatar Gombojav, and Prime Minister Khurelsukh Ukhnaa entered the chamber. Furthermore, President of Mongolia verified the authenticity of the original copy of the Constitutional Amendment with his signature and the State Seal before the Constitutional Amendment was appended to the original copy of the Constitution of Mongolia. The ceremony was attended by members of the Parliament and the Cabinet, deputies of the former People’s Great Khural, scholars and experts, representatives of government and non-government organizations, citizens, and members of the media.
