Principle and Functions

The National Legal Institution is dedicated to conduct research for the development of the scientific base of the state legal policy, to organize legal training for lawyers, jurists, legal professionals and the public, to inform the latest legal news and updates and to support activities of academic and higher educational organizations.
The National Program for Development of Public Legal Education was approved by the Government Decree No. 50 of 14 February 2018. The National Council is responsible for the implementation of the program throughout the country and coordinates its cross-sectoral activities and monitoring their implementation. By Section 6-3 of the program which states that “The National Legal Institute will serve as a Secretariat Office of the National Council”, the NLI is working and planning its activities to achieve program vision.
