USAID funds a project for the Unified Legal Information System Upgrade

(November 25, 2019) Due to the implementation of the provisions of the Agreement on Transparency in Matters Related to International Trade and Investment between the United States of America and Mongolia, USAID sponsored an improvement project for legalinfo.mn Website. USAID requested quotations from qualified Mongolian IT companies to develop a new cloud-based Web system for legalinfo.mn on the 25th of November, 2019. Mongolian IT firm Interactive LLC was selected to implement the new project because of its long-term experience in the IT industry of Mongolia. The new version of legalinfo.mn designed to be compatible with international Web standards such as Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and various versions of Web browsers. Also, the new legalinfo.mn will provide an opportunity to receive citizens’ comments on law drafts and to vote for the right decision. The most important feature of this upgrade is that the new version of legalinfo.mn could automatically connect with its mobile apps (compatible with iOS and Android OS smartphones). Almost all Mongolian current legal documents will be stored in a smart phone’s memory, and Citizens can read them everywhere.
